Guys. It's been AGES since I did one of this posts, and I want to change up my blog feed from all the weird fiction/angsty journal entries/other random writerly shit. Here's a few of the songs I've been loving for the past month...
WAIT A MINUTE! - WILLOW
No, seriously, wait a minute!! The last song I heard from Willow was Fireball.... ("I'm the fireball of the party" was the chorus)....... I don't know what happened since then but I clearly missed a lot; this song is so unique – reminds me of spaceships and forests.
MILEY - SWMRS
I've wanted to download Swmrs' latest album for a while now, but I only really got around to it lately. I love this song because not only does it directly praise Miley for her iconic opposite-end-of-the-spectrum change which is the cause of her constant media slander, but it reminds me of Enid from Ghost World.
SPREAD LOVE - MICK JENKINS
I love the lyrics of this song. They're honest, raw. Amazing to listen to while on the train and in need of something to think about.
TUYO - RODRIGO AMARANTE
This song is the theme for the Netflix series Narcos. I watched and absolutely FREAKING LOVED the series, but this song is something else!
PERM - BRUNO MARS
Best song to jam to. If you don't feel like dancing while listening to it, then you actually have no soul :)
CAUGHT IN YOUR TRAP - THE PIGEON DETECTIVES
This is still a relatively new song that I've downloaded, but it gives me major Kooks vibes.
SECRET GARDEN - SODA ISLAND & IZZARD
The title doesn't lie – the entire song sounds like a magical being floating through a garden bursting with colour and life. It's great.
